The Experience Athens family celebrates Day of the Dead, Dia de los Mu***os, to remember and honor those loved ones no longer with us. We decorated our Day of the Dead altar with the traditional sugar skulls, calaveritas, that we made at a workshop organized by Patty and the talented Berenice at the Air Castle Expression Space in Athens. Experience Athens takes part in tree planting and tree caring events around the greater Athens area. In July we joined We4All to water trees they have planted on the slopes of Mount Lycabettus in the heart of Athens. 🌳💦🪣💚🇬🇷.

The Experience Athens team joined The Hellenic Initiative and We4All in a tree caring event in Varibobi north of Athens. Along with other volunteers, we watered a reforested area that was impacted by wildfires in both 2022 and 2024. Despite temps in the high 90s, there was a positive vibe, upbeat music and people on a mission to help Greece’s environment! 🌳💦🪣💚 🇬🇷
