🔬🚀 From Ideas to Innovation: Testing ViReal4STEM! 🇱🇹🇬🇷

During our STEM & STEAM sessions in Athens, our participants from Lithuania 🇱🇹 had the exciting opportunity to be among the first to test the new ViReal4STEM app, recently finalized by the Erasmus+ project partnership! 📱✨

As experienced STEM teachers and education experts, their feedback is incredibly valuable. 🧑‍🏫💡 Through hands-on testing, exploration, and discussion, we are looking forward to receiving their creative and constructive feedback — helping us identify the final improvements needed before the app reaches its next stage. 🛠️🚀

🌍 But what is ViReal4STEM about?

The ViReal4STEM Erasmus+ project is designed to promote inclusivity and equity in STEM education, with a particular focus on encouraging the participation of underrepresented groups, especially girls. 👩‍🔬👩‍💻

Although important progress has been made towards gender equality, significant disparities still exist in STEM education and careers. ViReal4STEM aims to help address these challenges by fostering engagement, motivation, confidence, and long-term success in STEM learning. 🌱🔬

Today’s testing session was another important step in turning these goals into practical tools for educators and learners.

A big thank you to our Lithuanian STEM teachers for bringing their expertise, curiosity, and creativity to the testing process! 🙌🇱🇹

🌱🎬 NEW ERASMUS+ PROJECT | GREEN MOViES

We are delighted to announce that ITsART is joining the new Erasmus+ project GREEN MOViES! 🇪🇺

The project brings together GreenComp, sustainability education, STEM, digital storytelling and stop-motion animation to create new and engaging ways of learning for young children. 🌍🔬🎥

But GREEN MOViES is not only about technology.

It is about helping children explore, imagine, create and collaborate, while helping teachers develop the skills and resources they need to bring sustainability education into the classroom. 🌱👩‍🏫

🇵🇹 Bringing immersive learning to STEM education!

As part of an Erasmus+ teacher training course delivered by ITsART, educators from Portugal had the opportunity to experience the pilot version of the ViReal4STEM VR application. Participants explored how Virtual Reality can enhance STEM teaching by creating engaging, interactive, and inclusive learning experiences.

It was a great opportunity to gather valuable feedback from teachers while showcasing the potential of VR to inspire the next generation of STEM learners.
