🎈ΕΠΙΠΕΔΟ: Ανοικτό - καλό θα ήταν να είστε σχετικά άνετα με το γρήγορο tempo για να δοκιμάσουμε το κομμάτι πάνω στο οποίο χορεύουμε συχνά αυτή την χορογραφία, αν θέλετε όμως απλά την πρόκληση ακόμη κι αν δεν είστε ήδη εκεί, είστε ευπρόσδεκτ@!

💫Hackshouts 19.30-21.00
Σόλο Τζαζ με την :
Tο τμήμα όπου δοκιμάζουμε πειραματικά παιχνίδια που φέρνει η Irene αλλά ταυτόχρονα εστιάζουμε και σε πολύ υλικό από την ιστορία του jazz χορού εξερευνώντας παράλληλα την μουσική και δουλεύοντας τεχνική και αυτοσχεδιασμό
*το επίπεδο είναι ανοικτό όπως και το μυαλό αλλά υπάρχει μια εμπειρία 2 ετών περίπου στο σόλο τζαζ ή τις κλακέτες
⭐️The Jitters 21.00-22.30
Lindy hop με τον και την
και μια ομάδα έτοιμη για όλα , διάθεση για παιχνίδι και γρήγορο τέμπο, αν θέλετε, αυτό είναι ένα τμήμα που έχει λίγο πιο εντατικό χαρακτήρα, συνδυάζοντας τεχνική και ρεπερτόριο μαζί με αυτοσχεδιασμό και ενσωματώνοντας practice session μέσα στο πρόγραμμα, εναλλάξ
*επίπεδο ανοικτό αλλά ιδανικά εμπειρία τουλάχιστον 2 ετών Lindy hop και συχνό social dance
Τρίτη:
🌟Tickle Toes 21.00-22.30
Lindy hop με την και τον
και κυρίως με την αγαπημένη παρέα που έχει διαμορφωθεί σε αυτό το τμήμα όπου εστιάζουμε στο social dance και δουλεύουμε τεχνική για πιο άνετο leading & following ανεξαρτήτως ρόλων και πάντα με αφορμή την ιστορία του jazz χορού - στο τμήμα λειτουργεί ανεπίσημο poetry club🦄
*επίπεδο ανοικτό με εμπειρία 1 έτους ιδανικά, και πολλή όρεξη για social dance

Solo Jazz με τη
Ένα αγαπημένο γκρουπάκι που τρέχει εδώ και λίγο καιρό με το ιδιαίτερο υλικό, την ενέργεια και την αγάπη της δασκάλας☁️
🦜φήμες λένε ότι στο τέλος του μήνα θα γίνει ένα μικρό workshop για μια μεγάλη χορογραφία: το Big Apple 🍎 -> 30/01-01/02 σε 3 ώρες συ-νο-λι-κα , θα σπάσουμε ρεκόρ! Αν ειστε έτοιμα για την πρόκληση ελευθερώστε εκείνα τα δύο απογεύματα 💥

✨time flies and there’s only a couple of weeks left in Athens with our dearest but we are preparing an amazing mini weekend to say goodbye (for now) but mostly to learn from this inspiring dancer and of course move together👭👫👭👬
🪩 the weekend will start on FRIDAY the 31st with a social dance warmup at our favourite spot , a special edition of our Groovin High series of events, with a few surprises for you 👀
🌞 and of course you CANNOT miss the special mini workshop that we are curating for you, with the most interesting themes and concepts:

🌞 we are super excited for this week as it’s the first week of in Athens, in residence at the project for a whole month
🪩 we are throwing TWO different parties in THIS WEEK, to celebrate and welcome her, so come and say hi:
🍐join us this WEDNESDAY the 08th of October for the last edition of Meanglow from 20.00, for the last party of its kind at our favourite rooftop bar, in the heart of the city under the Athenian sky
🌚moon facts for the night: Waning gibbous — 96 % illuminated, just past full, a phase for winding down, processing, and release.
🩵🦊 then, this FRIDAY the 10th of October we will be waiting for you , the most iconic rock and roll bar in Athens and a beloved spot for us as well as our classic parties: Groovin’ High - swing to bop with a twist
☄️if you want to learn from Zeynep you can join our weekly classes but you might need to ask regarding the remaining spots, cause we like it cosy and our groups are always small (dm us here for more info , please avoid messenger or emails)

🦄 we are super excited to finally announce this really special dancer who will join us for a whole month in October for a mini residency at the AAJD project:
✨Zeynep will be teaching
▫️Solo Jazz every Monday 19.30-21.00, to the most talented and interesting little group up for the most experimental adventures, the Hackshouts
◾️Lindy Hop with aka dp, every Monday and Tuesday 21.00-22.30:
the Jitters, a motivated intensive group that loves challenges,
and the Tickle Toes, the more social dance oriented, laid back but equally energetic and motivated team with an unofficial poetry club as a bonus

🩵 about Zeynep:
She began actively dancing during her university years with Latin dances and Contemporary. Inspired by a video she watched, she started taking tap classes and later discovered Lindy Hop and Blues. Since then, she has been passionately exploring Jazz dances, the culture, and sharing it mainly in Istanbul.
She loves dancing explosive moves, having the boundless possibilities, and being able to go wild with this music. She inspires by researching musicians, their connection with jazz, and the ways they embody this art form.
In recent years, she has been interested in mindful movement, body therapy methods, and somatic-based approaches, for which she continues to learning and deepen her exploration. She integrates this knowledge, together with the support of her pedagogy degree, into her relationship with movement and the way she shares it.

✨as we are getting ready for a very different season with AAJD we will be sharing a few of our most wholesome moments from last year - when the project grew into something special, just like the people who are part of it

7 reenacting a favourite moment from their performance on Nina Simone’s “Funkier than a Mosquito’s Twitter”
🌃we will soon share many exciting news regarding the new season, but for now keep in mind that we are back next Wednesday the 27th for the last Moonglow partey for now

💥we are super excited to announce that AAJDs very own dinosaur will be travelling to Mexico for a month’s residency put together by the amazing
✨the residency will include an intensive workshop where Irene aims to share her ideas and process behind her team KOREZS, as well as her personal journey and research but also train and explore dynamic movements, rhythms and technique from selected references of jazz dance history
