🌱 Hello there!

We are truly honored and grateful to be nominated for the 5th Annual Non-Profit Organization Awards.☺️

This recognition means a great deal to our team and we deeply appreciate the support and trust from All our partners,communities and donors!💚

🌱Being considered for this award motivates us to continue our work even though we face some difficulties at the moment and like any organization we face a lot of challenges along the way.

When we started our NGO we had one simple yet powerful vision -to create a meaningful, positive impact while working. What a blessing!

🌱What began as a small initiative and as a result of an evening random hang out between the founders-two Greek women,Evangelia Paliari and Iliana Kroustalli has grown into a movement touching many lives along the globe.

🌱We want to share also that In 2025 the need for such initiatives has never been greater.
With the world facing social, environmental and economic challenges,collective action is crucial.
So if anyone thinks about it just do it!

💦Our journey has been fueled by the belief that even small efforts can lead to big changes and we remain committed to making a difference,one step at a time!

Happy Spring,everyone!🌻

We use to say that it’s a good vibe with the tribe but sometimes there is a lot of struggle to reach that point. It has been some time that we didn’t visit Bangladesh and even if our social project is being funded and active, it seems that our people lost their smiles. Our Tribe Women Factory is still partially owned by women. Somehow while we have been away, Hasna, our talented designer was fired with the excuse that Hasna is rude! Thank God that Hasna is rude and not submissive like all the other women there! Thank God that Hasna is divorced. Thank God that is asking for a better salary. Thank God that Hasna takes her time when she feels sick or tired. Hasna is talking to men without wearing a hijab. Hasna is leading the change! Hasna gave birth to her daughter when she was 11 years old. She got pregnant by an old man. We make an open call to women to visit our social project in Bangladesh and spread a bit of their vibe to our community 🙏

🌱Yesterday we have been in the presentation of this beautiful initiative in the exhibition which aims to support international creation by artistic and cultural research in an innovative field of walking arts and local communities leaning strongly on ecological and social principles and we did think about our 20 km walking experience with Kamba tribe in Kenya trying to reach a water source something that people of Kamba do in a daily basis and how beneficial was this interaction along with the walking itself.

🌱Sharing,understanding,observing,laughing,proposing even finding solutions.

🌱It’s in these moments of wandering,of simply being with the place,truly present that the world around you opens up like a book of poetry dense with meaning,alive with emotion and endlessly diverse.
-Each walk is an act of creation and you the walker become both witness and participant in the ongoing story of the community.

🌱Even in silence,the walk speaks.

🌱The issue of water scarcity is not only a challenge for the global South anymore.
💦Water scarcity in Europe is evolving into a crisis that we cannot ignore.
Many countries, particularly in Southern Europe, are facing severe water shortages due to climate change,over extraction and increasing demand.
🌱Water scarcity is also one of the most serious environmental issues facing Greece today.
💧The lack of rainfall and prolonged drought combined with the uncontrolled use of water resources continue to worsen the situation.
🚰The effects are evident in agriculture industry and the daily lives of millions of people.
💧It is imperative to adopt common European policies for sustainable water management and to raise public awareness about conserving this precious resource.
🌱Protecting water resources is not only a matter of environmental responsibility but also of social and economic stability for Europe’s future.

* Single-use plastics are illegal in some parts of the world.
* Every minute of every day a truckload of plastic is dumped into the ocean.
* 73% of beach litter worldwide is plastic.

Water is LIFE! 💦 💪🏾💦

🌱Visting Kenya in our annual rainy appointment was such a bliss!
Sand dams construction had been completed and communities were finally happy after the hard work as the dams needs community’s involvement to be built.
🌱Sand dams provide a sustainable water source and conserve ecosystems by raising the water table around them.
🌱Sand dams are a sustainable solution for water scarce regions,it is a simple, low-cost and low-maintenance replicable rainwater harvesting technology.
💦 Natural vegetation and biodiversity dependent on aquatic ecosystems near the sand dams also benefit.
🌱They provide a clean, local water supply for domestic and farming use and are suited to semi-arid areas of the world.
💦The impacts range from saving time,reducing conflicts,regreening local environments to improving sanitation, diet and people’s overall health.
🌱Sand dam projects also help empower women and improve gender equality.
💦A sand dam is a reinforced concrete wall built in a seasonal riverbed to capture and store water beneath sand.
🌱Small dams collect sand, which acts as a resilient store of water even when seasonal rains stop.
