A beautiful discovery yesterday at Rimhala in the valley near Aley: the Shazaya museum.
The Artist Charles Nassar gathered over the years remains of war bombs and explosives from the different regions in Lebanon and transformed them into Art.
Amazing to see how beauty and life can both rise out of something initially designed for death!

A special attention to the door locks gathered from the damaged homes after the explosion on August 4, 2020 (Charles helped fixing the damages) 🙏

Way to go Charles…proud of you and your work!

Dany sent me photos which he took walking the streets of the Big Apple…with the RAHEEL pages in hand.

I could only think of a man carrying a scent from his birthplace, through the images of the small buildings on the pages he carries, while also admiring the beauty of the surrounding skyscrapers.

It reminds us that IF IT SEEMS EASY TO MOVE A MAN OUT OF HIS COUNTRY, IT IS HARD TO MOVE A COUNTRY OUT OF A MAN.
