2025 was one for the books. This year we went all in on full-time travel visiting 12 countries, making countless memories, and experiencing some of the most epic adventures of our lives.
From jungles and temples to rice terraces, tuk-tuk road trips, remote islands, and volunteering at an elephant sanctuary to learning about new cultures, meeting incredible people, and falling in love with places we never expected… 2025 pushed us, changed us, and gave us stories we’ll carry forever.
But somewhere along the way, we also learned something important: we missed our people, we missed routine, and we missed having a place that truly felt like home. So 2025 ended with us moving back to Toronto, starting new full-time jobs, and buying our first car, a chapter we’re genuinely excited about. Full-time travel as a career wasn’t our forever, but travel will always be part of who we are. This isn’t the end of Roadmap2Adventures, not even close. It’s just a new chapter, with new stories, new trips, and a different pace.
We’re grateful beyond words for this year, the lessons, the adventures, and everyone who followed along. Here’s to seeing what 2026 brings. 🥂 Happy New Year everyone!

We found the best view in Athens and it comes with a cold beer. A must-do when visiting Athens is spending time at a rooftop bar to enjoy incredible views of the Acropolis. And one of the best is Attic Urban Rooftop. This is what rooftop dreams are made of. If you’re planning a trip to Athens, make sure to add this spot to your list and save this post for later!

Greece is famous for its history, stunning beaches, and mouthwatering food… but it’s also a cat paradise. From Athens to the islands, every winding alley, cobblestone street, and seaside promenade seems to lead straight to cats. Whether you’re exploring ancient temples or grabbing a souvlaki, there’s always a furry friend ready to join you. And trust us, they’ve perfected the art of puppy-dog eyes with whiskers, melting your heart the second you sit down at a taverna. It’s clear this country is their kingdom. And here’s the twist: I’ve never really been a cat person… but there’s just something about Greek cats that completely won me over.
