Blue John

Blue John is a musical persona that seems to come from another era.

Giannis Paneris invented the character of "Blue John", a troubadour-guide in a musical wandering in blues mythology, in the human desires and passions of yesterday and today. Playing with his old-fashioned guitar and singing with his quirky style that evokes the aesthetics of the traditional sounds of African American country blues, he conveys and recalls classic stories of folk music and blues themes.
