Have you ever felt your voice trapped inside you with so much to say, but fear kept you silent?😩

Dearest Mbolo Supporters, that was Jarra Yarboe’s story when she joined the UNDP-funded Climate Promise Project In october 2024. Though she was a bright young solar installer with incredible technical skills, Jarra's shyness and anxiety around public speaking held her back from seizing the many opportunities within her field🥹.

Having being introduced to soft skills development sessions under the climate promise project, Jarra set the big goal of finding her confidence and claiming her voice🤭.

In less than ten weeks, even her fellow project participants could not deny her transformation🤩.

In her own words, Jarra opened up to us; “Even though I was nervous during the initial stages, I kept going. All I needed was to trust myself, and in no time, I was speaking up like never before. Right now, I am not just a better installer but a better version of myself.”

A wise sage once said, confidence is the spark that turns skills into impact🔥.

Today, 👸Jarra Yarboe is no longer the quiet girl in the corner!!
This inspiring young lady now speaks with fire, locks eyes with her audience, and lead discussions related to solar energy with bold conviction.
