Tomorrow we stand together.

Due to the demonstration on Saturday the 17th, in response to recent U.S. statements regarding Greenland, our restaurant will remain closed until 15:00.

We have chosen to do this in order to give all of our employees the opportunity to participate in the demonstration, should they wish to do so. We believe that moments like these matter - moments where unity, respect, and care for our country and for one another come first.

Greenland is strongest when we stand together.

We don’t usually do politics. We’re chefs, servers, dishwashers, managers - people from many different countries, working side by side in restaurants in beautiful Nuuk.

So yes, today we’re wearing funny hats.
Yes, we’re joking.
But the message is serious.

No matter our nationality, background or passport, we’re united in one thing:
The American approach to Greenland - and the recent statements from Donald Trump - show a profound misunderstanding of who we are.

Greenland is not a joke, not a product, and not a bargaining chip.
But laughter is a way to stand together when the noise gets loud.
