From 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟴–𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 2026 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 take place in 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦, 𝘠𝘶𝘬𝘰𝘯 - welcoming athletes, coaches and volunteers from across the circumpolar North for a unique celebration of sport, culture and community.

With around 𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝗬𝘂𝗸𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗮, 𝗡𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘃𝘂𝘁, 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗡𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝐚́𝗽𝗺𝗶, the Games are one of the largest multi-sport and cultural events in the northern world.

Across the week, young athletes will compete in a wide range of sports - from hockey and figure skating over badminton, table tennis and much more to traditional Arctic disciplines - together with a long range of cultural events highlights the strength, culture and spirit that connect communities across the North.

Behind the scenes, 𝗞𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗞 𝗶𝗧 is proud - now for the thirteenth time - to support the event with 𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗦.𝗽𝗿𝗼, helping manage registration, accreditation and volunteer coordination so everyone can focus on the performances and experiences that make the Games unforgettable.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗮 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀

The 2026 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘣𝘢 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘣𝘢 𝘏𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘰 in Thompson, Manitoba, brings together 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟳𝟱𝟬 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 from across the province for a week of sport, teamwork and community spirit.

For the next seven days, young athletes aged roughly 10–17 will compete in multiple sports including hockey, figure skating, curling, alpine skiing, ringette, archery, speed skating and more, showcasing not only their skills but also sportsmanship and regional pride.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆!

The 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games kicked off yesterday in 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 and 𝗙𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, bringing together 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 for a week of multi-sport competition, community and celebration on the provincial stage.

Over the next seven days, competitors will take part in 16 different sports - from figure skating and cross-country skiing to curling, biathlon and more - supported by 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 helping welcome athletes, families and fans.

Thursday of last week we had the latest iteration of our quarterly 𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗦.𝗽𝗿𝗼 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗚𝗣𝗨𝗖) where the 𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗦.𝗽𝗿𝗼 Team provides Games peers with a virtual “Wine and Cheese” opportunity to openly discuss their Games planning phases involving GEMS.pro. The goal of the forum is to facilitate 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 in a 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 between games peers.

Today marks the beginning of the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲, where talented skaters from across the country compete for their place at the national championships.

At 𝗞𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗞 𝗶𝗧, we’re proud to support the event once again with 𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗦.𝗽𝗿𝗼, powering registration, accreditation and volunteer coordination to help everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀, 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀
In only 3 days, the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 will start in Galgary, Alberta.

Here, some of the country's most dedicated and talented skaters will gather to compete for spots in the Canadian National Skating Championships. This is where the next generation of skating stars take the first big steps in their careers supported by coaches, officials and volunteers - An entire community behind them.

At 𝗞𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗞 𝗶𝗧, we know that the best experiences are created when people and technology work together. That's why we are proud that 𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗦.𝗽𝗿𝗼 is once again supporting the event with registration and accreditation as well as administration of the many volunteers who make everything run smoothly, enabling everybody’s enjoyment of the great performances on the ice with peace of mind behind the scenes.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗦.𝗽𝗿𝗼

For 3 days the 𝗦𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗧𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲, in Saskatoon, will host participants, technical officials, volunteers, and guests. More than 200 volunteers are ready to take on the many challenges involved in making sure that everything goes smoothly and the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 is a fantastic experience for all involved.

KIMIK iT is proud that our GEMS.pro system is used to support both the many volunteers and the event management team, with handling the huge amount of logistics involved in managing the event.

On their way to qualify for the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final® being held in Nagoya, Japan in December, world-class talent from Canada and around the world, will meet and compete in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

For 4 days men, women, and pairs will compete in many different figure skating and ice dance disciplines.
