We have had a successful meeting with LPS today regarding flooring. The government has agreed to pay for our chosen surveyor. The list of homes to inspect is being compiled and we will be in touch with affected residents in the coming weeks to book an inspection. Covid dependent, we hope the inspections will commence mid-late September.

As you may have seen Paul Tremayne and Sylvia Leslie have stepped down from the committee this week for personal reasons. The remaining committee members would like to thank both Paul and Sylvia for their time and commitment during their time on the committee and wish them all the best for the future.

We have been in touch with our lawyer and he has confirmed that under the current circumstances (not being able to host an AGM) the number of directors is limited to 7. We are in a position to have 3 residents join the committee until we can host an AGM. We have already received expression of interest from various residents. If you are interested in joining us, please send us a message with a bit about yourself and what you hope to achieve as part of the committee and we will arrange to meet you in person to discuss further. Once we have met the interested members, the committee will discuss and decide which residents (up to 3) will join the committee at this time, as has been done in the past. This will then be ratified at the next AGM by the membership.

The Sand Dune main foyer will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday 11th August, from 10am for essential repairs. There will be no access to the post boxes. Please use alternative pedestrian entry/exit. If you have any concerns please contact the caretakers as of 8am. Apologies for the inconvenience.

There will be a disruption to the salt water supply again this morning. Cassais have just informed us they are starting works. Hopefully this is the last time and it won't be for very long.

We have been informed that salt water will be cut off for Sand Dune House at 1730hrs today for approximately 30 minutes.
