As part of our volunteering programme, a group of our employees recently spent the day supporting a local animal shelter.

Throughout the day, the team helped with a variety of tasks, including cleaning kennels, feeding and caring for the animals, carrying out minor maintenance work, and assisting wherever an extra pair of hands was needed.

It was a rewarding experience and a wonderful opportunity to give back to the local community while supporting the incredible work carried out by the shelter every day.

A special thank you The Animal Collective welcoming us, coordinating the activities, and for the dedication and care shown to the animals. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute and learn more about the important work being done.

For another year, we were proud to take part in , a fantastic local event supporting breast cancer awareness and those affected by the disease.

Thanks to the generosity of our employees, we raised and donated £280 to . As part of the initiative, our team stepped away from their desks and completed a 5km walk together, showing support for an important cause while promoting wellbeing and community spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this year's event a success.

We also had the opportunity to speak with GibSams, a local organisation supporting mental health in Gibraltar. It was an inspiring session and a valuable reminder of the importance of open conversations and accessible support.

Yesterday was International Men's Day - a moment to recognise the men in our lives and shine a light on their health and wellbeing.

With Movember in full swing, it's perfect time to raise awareness around men's health, including prostate and testicular cancer. Even small conversations can inspire big change.

We also couldn't resist capturing a few of our bearded and moustached legends in the office - perfectly fitting for the season of meaningful moustaches. 🧔‍♂️✨️

Let's keep supporting one another, checking in, and encouraging the men around us to take care of their health - not just this month but all year around. 💙

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗
To show our support, our team wore pink last Friday - a small gesture to spread awareness and remind everyone about the importance of early detection and regular check-ups. 🎀✔️

Today, we are wearing green in aid of to support important work. 💚

Gibsams has organised Gibraltar's green initiative in support of mental health awareness, and by wearing green, we show solidarity with those affected by mental health challenges and remind ourselves that it's okay to talk, to listen and to care.

Let's continue to foster a culture of openness, emphaty, and support.

We are very excited to share that Playtech is generously sponsoring our Health Care Assistants for the next six months. Their support allows our dedicated frontline staff to focus fully on delivering compassionate, life-changing care to those who need it most.

In addition, Playtech is sponsoring essential IT equipment for our nurses and fundraising team. This enables our teams to work more efficiently, connect with supporters, and dedicate even more time to improving the lives of our service users every day.
