If you know you have an anointing you don't fight for position and titles but when you are not sure of your anointing and responsibility that's when you fight for positions to make up for your loss of anointing and relevance. A typical example is how Saul fought and pursued David just to secure his title and position, knowing very well that he had lost his anointing and influence.
