LET NO MAN DEFINE YOU ACCORDING TO YOUR PAST!!!
Often, we judge people but fail to see what they could become. The fact remains; we all make mistakes. But if the bases of our judgment to others is their past, we are forgetting one thing--we do not live in the past anymore. The past is gone forever. When God forgives He forgets! In Him, when our sin is forgiven it's been buried in God's sea of forgetfulness.
Not only have we judged people by their past, but we also judge them by their present. Instead of seeing what others could become, we often see what they really are in the present as if there is no hope for change. If you judge people by their present but fail to see what they could become, you won't be able to love them as you should. In a nutshell, don't judge others by their yesterday and certainly don't judge them by what they are today. Judge them by what they can become tomorrow.
Let us not be the reason that others do not surrender their lives completely to Jesus. Speak the truth in love, but more importantly intercede for others in those moments when words are meant to be few. May the Lord grant you the grace.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. --- Romans 5:8
God has a plan for you (Jer. 29:11) and you will make it through this time of testing. Keep on believing and moving forward and you will see Him working out the details. God is never early or late but His timing is always perfect.
Prayer is the tool by which we appropriate the Word of God in different ways for deliverance from evil. We deploy it as a sword, in faith as a shield and to the world,as light against any form of evil/ darkness. PRAY!!!!!
Habakkuk 2:2
“Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.”
When God wants to use a man, He gives him a vision of his future. When nurtured, the vision becomes an anchor that directs and regulates his thoughts and actions. The Bible says of Jesus in Luke 2:49 “...Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” Joseph continually brooded over the dream and vision God gave him until it came to fruition. Receiving the vision is not enough, you must continually engage and nurture it in your heart until you see the manifestation. Paul, writing to Timothy reminded him to “...stir up the gift of God which is in him...” (2 Timothy 1:6). We become spiritually stale when the vision is not stirred.
The vision is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit and will always be the opposite of our present. Often, the detail and strategy for fulfilling same is unclear in the moment. Whereas God is immutable in His purpose for our lives, His plan or strategy may vary. This is why it is an error to take the strategy of man in fulfilling God’s vision for your life because the operations of the Spirit are dynamic. God said to Joshua “...See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and the mighty warriors.” (Joshua 6:2 AMP). If the natural inclination was to pick up his sword to fight because God had declared victory, Joshua would have missed it. The strategy for his victory was through praise. The revelation of the strategy in fulfilling the vision is always progressive and tied to your obedience.
Jesus said in Matthew 4:19 KJV “...Follow me, and I will make you...” In following, we discover, learn and mature. Then as we fellowship with the Holy Spirit, He reveals the strategy and imparts ability to fulfill the vision.
Stay obedient to your vision!

Through HIS Word
John 14:23
“Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.”
Our proof of love for Jesus is in obedience to His commandments and living our lives worthy of the calling to which He has qualified us. The more we know Jesus, the more we love Him. More importantly, we cannot have revelation of who Jesus is without the Holy Spirit because it is the Spirit that “...takes of what is the Lord’s and reveals to us” (John 16:14). Through fellowship with Him, He makes the love of God real to our hearts.
Jesus said in John 14:24 “He who does not love Me does not keep My words...”. It is possible to honour God with your words and yet have your heart in disobedience. One may ask, is it possible to measure one’s love for the Master? Emphatically, yes! How enthused are you with the things of God? How often do you tell others about Jesus? How often do you fellowship with the Lord through His word, prayer and worship? Do you walk by faith? Do you see and love people as God sees and loves them?
One of the most critical indicators of our love for Jesus is revealed in how we treat others. If we cannot love people unconditionally and be quick to forgive them when they hurt and disappoint us, then our love for the Lord is questionable!
We are God’s representatives in the earth. When men look at us, they should see the extension of God’s love in and through us. Let men see Jesus through our lives.
DEVOTION
"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:9"
God had already told Joshua to be strong and courageous in Joshua 1:7. In verse 9 He had to remind Joshua again to be strong and courageous because Joshua had forgotten what God had told him in verse 7. Moses was gone from the scene and God replaced him with Joshua; Joshua did not believe that he could do it-he was still living in shock at the sudden demise of Moses. It happens when a person loses a dear one all of a sudden. When the Word of God came to Joshua the second time, he believed it and was able to lead the Israelites to the promised land. Beloved, the Word of God is also telling you to be strong and courageous to accomplish the task He has assigned to you. Don't be afraid, for the Holy Ghost is with you. Praise the Lord! God bless you. Good morning. Have a blessed Friday
The Christian life involves a cross.
So as Christians, we must arm ourselves with an attitude that is prepared for trouble and hardship.
God can use bad things that happen to us for good.
