The Liberal Democratic Congress embarked on menstrual health education at Krobo Girls Presbyterian Senior High School to break the silence on menstrual health and donated sanitary towels and other items to ensure menstrual hygiene. In the thick of achieving equity and equality as part of SDG 10 which talks about gender equality, we need to throw light on period poverty which is one of the prevailing problems denying girls and women in their menstrual cycle good menstrual hygiene that receives little to no attention. It is in this regard the Liberal Democratic Congress has taken the responsibility to ensure our women and girls have safe and hygienic periods.

Our children of today are our leaders of tomorrow. It is therefore important they are provided with good health services. We need them to have a liberated nation.
