JOB VACANCIES

1.ASSISTANT IT OFFICER
JOB PURPOSE
To support the effective operation, maintenance, and security of the bank’s IT systems and infrastructure by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and user support, while ensuring smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network services in line with the bank’s operational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide first-level technical support to staff on hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems
• Support the daily operations of core banking applications(T24) and other software tools.
• Monitor system performance and report any faults or irregularities.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems.
• Assist in data backups and ensure data protection procedures are followed.
• Maintain inventory records of IT assets and equipment,
• Support IT related trainings and on boarding of new users.
• Escalate complex issues to the IT Head as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of First degree in Computer Science or related field with at least one (1) year post qualification work experience in a bank or a financial institution.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Website development and management
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Familiarity with database management and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of IT troubleshooting and user support techniques.
• Ability to install and configure basic computer systems and applications
• Understanding of data backup and security procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.

AGE QUALIFICATION
Applicants should be between 21yrs and 35yrs.

2.FIELD OFFICER
JOB PURPOSE
To mobilize deposits, monitor loan clients, conduct field visits, and engage with communities to promote the bank’s financial products and services, ensuring effective credit recovery, customer satisfaction, and financial inclusion in line with the bank’s objectives.

KEY REPONSIBILITIES
• Mobilize deposits and promote the bank’s products within assigned communities
• Identify, assess, and recommend potential clients for credit facilities
• Monitor loan usage and ensure timely payment through regular field visits
• Maintain accurate records of clients’ interactions, transactions, and loan performance
• Provide financial education and advisory support to clients
• Build and maintain strong relationship with clients and community leaders
• Prepare and submit timely field reports to supervisors
• Ensure compliance with bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A Minimum of HND in Accounting or any related field with at least one (1) year post qualification work experience in a bank or a financial institution.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Good knowledge of microfinance, credit management and rural banking operations
• Understanding of loan appraisal, disbursement, and recovery processes
• Basic financial literacy and numeracy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build trust and relate well with rural clients and communities
• Good reporting and record-keeping skills.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of the local language and culture is an advantage
• Integrity, honesty, and commitment to the bank’s values.

NANDOM RURAL BANK LIMITED CALLS FOR INTERESTED SHAREHOLDERS TO APPLY TO JOIN THE BOARD

1. Board Requirements
A shareholder must have a qualification in at least one of the following disciplines: Banking, Auditing, Law, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Communication Technology, Entrepreneurship, Risk Management, Strategic Planning and Corporate Governance

2. Procedure for appointment of a Director to the Board;

In addition, you are required after being elected at AGM to provide a Tax Clearance Certificate (To be issued by the nearest Ghana Revenue Authority Office). Within one month after your election to be forwarded to BoG for approval.
