In celebration of independence month A collaborative photo series documented by tonia marie parker and Godwin Eze.

We did a bit of storytelling taking inspiration from the love story of former ghanaian politician and lawyer Joseph Emmanuel Appiah who startled the world in 1953 by marrying the daughter of british politician Sir Richard Stafford Cripps daughter Peggy Cripps during a period where In*******al marriages were rare. The photo series aims to highlight the lengths at which we as a people have come. From early slavery to being a family with one another, In*******al marriages between Africa and the world symbolize the beautiful tapestry of human diversity and cultural exchange. They reflect the evolving nature of global relationships, challenging stereotypes, and promoting inclusivity. This photo series transcends through history and time
