On the 22nd of October DDEEP participants organized an Harvest Festival in Accra (Ghana). Local community had the chance to know the project, its local and international activities, its results, among which the Handbook on Urban Gardening. Moreover they "met" Chinese, Italian and Slovenian culture, discovering harvest traditions and tasting traditional food and drinks....

From 19th to 24th of October 2014, LWGs members and project coordinators met in Accra (Ghana): presentation of local project activities, visit to the local DDEEP urban garden, gardening activities, intercultural dinner, visit to local schools involved in local project workshops, ideas for new projects and for new uses of urban garden and preparation and partecipation in the Harvest Festival...

During the Ecomercato organized by CODIFAS and the local association OltreVerde, the italian DDEEP youth organized several workshops: how to create a vertical garden with recycled materials, visit to the urban garden and basic knowledge about horticulture for children, comparison between biological and not biological fruits...at the end they offered a barbecue!!
Durante l'Ecomercato organizzato dal CODIFAS e dall'associazione locale OltreVerde, i ragazzi di DDEEP hanno svolto diversi laboratori: come costruire orti verticali utilizzando materiale riciclato, visita dell'orto e piccoli lavori di orticultura per i più piccini, comparazione di prodotti biologici e non biologici...per finire grigliata di carne e verdure!!

Cosa: i ragazzi di DDEEP svolgeranno diversi laboratori aperti al pubblico.
10,45: presentazione del progetto e dei laboratori
11,00 - 11,30: laboratorio sugli orti verticali con materiale riciclato
11,45 - 12,30: laboratorio di orticultura per bambini
12,30 - 13,00: degustazione e comparazione di prodotti biologici con quelli non biologici
13,30: grigliata di carne e verdure.
