We are taking stock of some of our highlights from 2025 to keep us motivated in 2026. The Meta 2Africa Commencement was definitley a highlight!

A landmark event celebrating the launch of the world’s longest subsea cable, connecting 30+ countries across Europe, Asia and Africa.

We brought it all together in Cape Town in a 150 person celebration, coordinating multiple teams and managing travel and logistics for 20 policymakers from across the African continent.

Grateful for the incredible women founders, investors and creatives who joined us for our recent Culture is Currency dinner in Accra.

We spent the evening exploring localization in AI and the role that culture, language and lived experience play in shaping technology across food, agriculture, and climate innovation.

Thank you to Women Who Build Africa (WWBA) and for partnering with us, and to every woman who brought honesty, insight and generosity to the table.
Gatherings like this continue to remind us why culture remains our most powerful currency.

• Day 1
set the stage with intensive football training, nutrition guidance, and essential sports life skills, empowering participants to excel both on and off the field.

• Day 2
kicked off with an exhilarating tournament showcasing participants’ skills and teamwork, and concluded with awards celebrating their hard work and dedication.

• Cultural & Trip Experience
The NKWA team immersed themselves in Ghanaian culture with visits to Okyenhene’s Palace and the 67th Independence Day celebration. Special thanks to for expertly managing the itinerary, highlights included a networking event at Nsuomnam that fostered valuable connections with business leaders and likeminded individuals.
