A team from the Keep Greater Accra Clean Project, under the auspices of the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council and led by Chief Coordinator Tony Addison Dodoo, participated in the Dodowa Ngmayem Festival on Saturday, October 4, 2025 in the Greater Accra Region.

The team, consisting of sweepers, pickers, and their supervisors, were visibly present in Dodowa ahead of the festival, cleaning and desilting the drains as part of our mandate to keep our environment clean.
Speaking to some media outlets on site, the Coordinator emphasized that the Taskforce unit of the project will be relentless in fighting households, traders, or businesses that are intent on making the capital city a dirty place.

This marks the first public appearance of members of the Keep Greater Accra Clean Project.

It is going to be an all-action display by President Mahama this week as he launches the following programmes:

1. Adwumawura which targets 10,000 young business owners,on Monday.

2.Ghana Medical Trust Fund(Mahama Cares) on Tuesday to help sufferers of chronic diseases and;

3. The National Apprenticeship Programme(NAP) aimed at training tens of thousands of youth in various artisanal skills,on Wednesday.
