Phase 2 of the Empower Her Project is coming, workshops, advocacy, and a Mixed-Gender League that puts inclusion at centre court.

Meet the newest Research Assistants joining the B.A.L.L Project. Welcome to the team! 👏

As part of the project, they will support DUNK Grassroots in data collection, interview transcription, documentation, and research activities, helping capture the voices and experiences of young people to generate evidence that informs youth leadership, active participation, and non-formal learning initiatives.

A full-circle moment. 💙

At 13, Bismark walked into DUNK as a young participant with big dreams.

Today, he returns as a Youth Leaders and Project Coordinator, and has been selected to represent Ghana at the inaugural Pan-African Youth Parliament for Democracy.

This is what long-term investment in young people looks like.

Over two inspiring days, young women will come together to compete, learn, connect, and grow through:

The summit also marks the launch of the USF Exclusive Women’s Category, establishing stronger pathways for female athletes participation, and leadership for women and girls in basketball.

young people to lead weekly street sports and
life skills sessions right in their communities.
You bring the energy. We bring the tools,
the training, and the network.

As a Playmaker you will:

🏀 Lead weekly sports activities for children
in your community
🛠 Build practical leadership and facilitation skills
🌍 Join a movement of young changemakers across
Ghana, Kenya and Denmark

📚 Access resources and training to run your
own community sessions
