The Oracle Academy training for Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration - GIMPA graduate students, titled "Optimizing Business Operations with Oracle NetSuite," was held on October 5, 2024. Mohamed Hasan, Senior Solutions Engineer at Oracle NetSuite EMEA, led the session. Other speakers included Bekere Amassoma, M.Sc, PMP®, Oracle Academy Programs Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Dr. amoako kwarteng, Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance at GIMPA Business School, and Dr. Nana Assyne, Lecturer from the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems. The event was a hybrid format, with both in-person and online attendance. The sessions were informative, with students engaging in thoughtful discussions about integrating NetSuite into their existing workplace systems. It concluded with a memorable photo shoot, marking a successful event.

Last week, we had an amazing Oracle Academy Girls in STEM event at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan ICT Center! The event featured inspiring speakers like Emanuella Godlove-Osei, Bekere Amasoma, MamiSerwa Amoakohene, and Mrs. Sylvia Adomadzi-Longdon, who motivated the talented girls from the Korle Klottey municipality in the Greater Accra Region to dream big and pursue careers in STEM.

It’s exciting to see the next generation of young women embracing tech and innovation. Grateful for the opportunity to witness such inspiration!
