😍🌴✨ There’s just something about palm trees that always pulls me into my softest self. I feel like they carry this refreshing energy that just makes me feel vacation ready whenever I see them. Like just give me a cocktail and sit me by the water! I can’t help but relax and feel lighter.☺️
I’ve been musing on this photo as I prepare for my next show later next month & exploring ways to recreate that same vacation energy in a completely different space. It’s the kind of creative challenge that lights me up.🤩
Until then, here’s a little moment of peace as we count down. 🌴✨

🌱 Me in my happy place with my besties 🥰 I absolutely loved loved this installation by from an exhibition last year. I really feel like plants are honestly one of the most creative expressions in the world from the geometry, to the colours, the patterns, the shapes… they give endless artistic inspiration. And I love when artists bring that into their work.
My personal favourite thing about plants tho is their healing energy, but we’ll save that conversation for another day… maybe on the 28th of December🕸️ 😉
Until then, here’s me with the gang, looking exactly how I’m feeling 🥰❤️

😍🌳 Why watch TV when you can watch this? 😏
I remember seeing this view on my way to the gym about two years ago and feeling like I had no choice but to grab my phone right then and there. The sky looked impossibly blue; it was October, and I always say October brings the most beautiful skies in Ghana. Everything about that view felt glorious, and I was in awe of the beauty of it all.
Not long after, a big part of this tree was cut down. I was upset at first, but then I remembered I had already captured its beauty and essence forever, both in my memory and on my phone. That thought made me feel better.
To me, that’s the heart of photography. The present moment is precious, but also fleeting. Sometimes the only way to make it last a little longer is to document it, whether it’s through writing, through art, or through photos like this one.
The tree has grown back now, but even if it hadn’t, I’d still have it forever because I turned it into art. And art lives forever. That’s what being a creative is really all about: a way of giving permanence to something as fleeting and divine as spirit.

💚🍀No archetype, just me 😏
Bringing back this photo from last August because I still can’t get over ’s mind! If you know me, you know I’m obsessed with nature and art, so when it comes to nature-inspired art, just give me a seat, period.
From the intricate weaving to the mix of materials that brought this imagery to life, I loved everything about these pieces from The Unlimited Show last year. To me, nature is the ultimate muse, so anything born from her inspiration is bound to be pure magic!
This was definitely one of my favorite pieces, and I’m so glad I have these photos to relive such a beautiful moment.🥰

🐉The next archetype I’ve been exploring through this art piece by is the Untameable Wild Woman.
She represents the embodiment of Eros energy, the creative life force that moves through all living things. Eros is often reduced to the sexual, but its much more than that. It’s the pulse of existence itself. It’s what causes seeds to sprout, ideas to form, and transformation to happen. It’s life wanting to express itself.
The Wild Woman is a woman in touch with that pulse. She lives in rhythm with instinct, emotion, and creative flow rather than external expectation.
Across cultures, this energy takes many faces.
Oya, the Yoruba goddess of storms and transformation, clears paths through fierce winds.
Sekhmet, the Egyptian lioness, channels sacred rage to destroy what must end and heal what must continue.
Lalita Tripura Sundari, the Hindu goddess of bliss, reminds us that pleasure and creation come from the same divine source.
And finally, Kali, the liberator, embodies destruction as a form of truth and renewal.
You can see the Wild Woman mirrored in nature as well, in the way bougainvillea grows wild and free, covering space with color. In the way fire dances and wind shifts, strong yet fluid, never meant to be contained.
When this energy awakens in a woman, it restores her natural rhythm. She becomes creative, expressive, and deeply intuitive. She stops suppressing her aliveness and begins to channel it into movement, art, emotion, and purpose.
The Wild Woman reminds us that life itself is creative energy in motion. It can’t be owned, only expressed.
May every woman remember the wild within her, because that’s the force that keeps life, art, and spirit moving!💃🏽🔥

👸🏾✨From the Queen bee to the African warrior queen, the Queen archetype is one of my favorites to explore. Although I’m highly impressed by the strength, grace & vigor she exudes, what I truly love about this archetype is that above everything, she’s mother.
Across cultures, the Queen archetype represents the union of power and nurture. She is the bridge between the spiritual and the earthly, one who governs not through domination, but through devotion. The true Queen rules by embodying the balance of masculine and feminine energies: structure and flow, logic and intuition, protection and care.
In African traditions, this archetype has been lived through figures like Yaa Asantewaa, the Ashanti Queen Mother who led her people in the War of the Golden Stool, not for personal gain, but to protect the soul of her nation. Or Queen Nzinga of Ndongo and Matamba, who negotiated, fought, and ruled with strategic brilliance and maternal ferocity. And Makeda, the Queen of Sheba, whose wisdom and diplomacy made her a symbol of divine feminine intelligence across continents.
The African Queen is never detached from her people. Her crown is not ornamental, it’s functional. It carries the weight of responsibility, compassion, and continuity. Her rule mirrors the Queen Bee, whose purpose is to sustain the hive through her pheromones to ensure life continues to thrive.
Even in the divine realm, the Queen archetype appears as Durga, the warrior goddess who rides into battle not out of anger, but out of sacred duty depicting a mother defending her creation.
So when we speak of the Queen, we’re not only talking about sovereignty. We’re talking about sacred service, the willingness to lead, to protect, to nurture, and to multiply life itself.
The Queen is a role of deep spiritual responsibility.
She is mother first, and her other roles, the warrior, the leader, the visionary are all extensions of that motherhood.

🌊❤️🔥One of my favorite elements of ‘See Thru My
Ice’ was the virtual reality experience designed by .
While the photographs celebrated the beauty of our landscapes, from beaches and waterfalls to forests and flowers found right here, the VR brought these spaces to life.
From standing in the mist of Wii Falls, to walking through the density of Kakum’s canopy, even drifting along Zanzibar’s shores, guests were transported to another world for a few moments.
For me as a curator, it was important to show how art can extend past frames on a wall and merge seamlessly with technology, creating layered experiences that are both tangible and immersive. It was not just a show, it was a continuous feeling experience.
Cocktails inspired by the very scenes on display completed the multisensory experience. Nature, taste, vision, and innovation all in one evening, curated by yours truly 😉🥂

🦚 ❤️🔥Flashback to one of my favorite shows of all time, by .collections and curated by . I still remember being completely captivated, from the massive canvases to sculptures that seemed to breathe life into the work. Every detail, every setup, every corner of the space felt alive with intention.
As an art lover, I left on a high that carried into the next day, simply from being surrounded by so much beauty. As an artist & curator, I was in awe of the dedication, vision, and attention to detail it must’ve taken to bring such a magnificent body of work into being.
Almost two years later, I’m still inspired by that show. That’s the true power of art, its ability to keep speaking, long after the moment has passed. 🎨✨
