How can transport fare originally as Gh290 now become Gh270 when we are told of reduction of 15.3%. Is 15% of Gh270 not Gh40. Total cheat by V.I.P Jeoun Transport Service. Authorities must come in.

When Fuel prices went up and was selling at Gh17.99 per litre, V.I.P Jeoun Transport Service was charging Gh290 thus from Wa-Accra. Today there is a reduction of fares by 15% and they are charging Gh270? 15% of Gh290 is Gh43 so they must reduce the fare by Gh43 which will now make it Gh247.
Greedy people!

Dear Transport Companies,

Please stop the Preachings and sales of things in the buses. Not everyone needs them. Besides buses are not places for preaching, temples are. If anyone wants to listen to Preachings the person should either go to church, mosque, or any temple or better still have the audio and listen with their earpieces.

Secondly, Christianity isn't the only acceptable religion in Ghana, there is Islam, Budhism, Hinduism, ATR, Rastafarianism, schism etc. If they all start to come and preach or do their spiritual things in the buses with the reasons Christian preachers are using now, the chaos will be too much.

No transport company outside Africa accepts Preachings and those things. Even airlines who carry over 500 people don't do so, trains don't do same and cruise ships. Advance transport companies don't even play general video or audio for everyone. They give each person earpiece and personal screen.

If we want to develop we must follow best practices. Rather pay attention to the conditions of the buses, pay driver's and mates well, do refreshal training of drivers every month and have standby clearance team who who satisfy everything before the bus moves. That's professional.

Everyone knows that these preachers are advanced beggars who connive with your drivers and mates (co drivers), then after collecting the offering the driver takes his share as well as the mate. Same to the sales.

Stop it before the chaos start.

See, the same way GPRTU of TUC, PROTOA, and co., are quick to meet with the Ministry of Transport - Ghana to negotiate for fare increments, the MoT should call them too for negotiation in the reduction of fares.

We blame everything on the government, but when things are stabilised for us to adjust, we, the same people, will turn deaf ears! What is the GPRTU waiting for before they reduce fares? What is V.I.P Jeoun Transport Service waiting for before they bring out a new reduction price list?
