Mamprobi Polyclinic Baby Theft: Family Demands DNA Test Amid Doubts

The family of the baby who was allegedly stolen at Mamprobi Polyclinic in Accra is demanding a DNA test to confirm the child’s true identity, despite the infant being reunited with the mother.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Frank Banks, who identified himself as the baby’s uncle, revealed that recent developments surrounding the case have raised concerns and suspicions within the family.

According to him, although the baby has been returned, they believe a DNA test is necessary to remove any lingering doubts and ensure full certainty.

“As of now, the baby has been reunited with the mother, but I insist that a DNA test be conducted to confirm that the child is indeed ours and not someone else’s,” he stated.

Mr. Banks emphasized that the request is not out of disrespect but rather for clarity and peace of mind.

“We have to have it done because I am uncertain about what is going on. We need to conduct a DNA test to prove that the child is indeed ours. You cannot simply present any child to us and say, ‘This is him, we have found him, take him and go home.’”

He further expressed concern about possible future complications.

“What if, in the next 10 years, we want to travel abroad with the child and tests are conducted, only for the results not to match? That is why we need to carry out a DNA test now.”

The case has sparked widespread public attention, with many calling for transparency and thorough investigations to ensure justice and restore public confidence.

As the holy month of Ramadan draws near, a powerful message from a Christian brother has taken social media by storm, and the reactions have been nothing short of inspiring.

A Ghanaian social media user, BigGodwin Martey, shared what he called an “unpopular life hack,” and it has since sparked massive conversations, testimonies, and positive engagement across different platforms.

“Keep this Unpopular Life Hack: If on any day in your life you find yourself stranded somewhere with no help in sight. Look for ANY MOSQUE, I repeat, ANY MOSQUE AT ALL, find whoever is there and politely ask for help. Their compassion is Crazy! Try it.”

The post quickly gained traction, with many people,Christians and non Muslims included, flooding the comment section with personal experiences of kindness they received at mosques. From travelers who were given shelter, to strangers offered food, transport fare, or even emotional support, the testimonies continue to pour in.

Interestingly, this wave of positivity comes at a time when Muslims worldwide are preparing for Ramadan,a sacred month marked by fasting, prayer, generosity, and charity. Acts of compassion and community support are deeply rooted in Islamic teachings, especially during this period.

Social media users have praised the post for promoting unity and interfaith harmony, describing it as a refreshing reminder that humanity comes first before religious differences.

In a time when online spaces are often filled with division and negativity, this simple message has done the opposite,it has inspired hope, strengthened bonds, and highlighted the power of kindness.

Indeed, sometimes the most “unpopular” advice turns out to be the most powerful.

🚨 Ghana Moves to Extradite Russian Over Secret Filming Scandal~Sam George Speaks

The Government of Ghana has officially begun processes to extradite a Russian national accused of secretly filming intimate encounters with Ghanaian women and allegedly publishing the footage online without their consent.

According to Sam George, Ghana’s Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, the state will not tolerate such violations of privacy and dignity.

Speaking on the matter, the Minister revealed that diplomatic steps are already underway, including engaging the Russian Embassy and activating international legal channels to ensure the suspect faces justice under Ghanaian law.

Under Ghana’s Cybersecurity laws, the non consensual sharing of intimate images is a serious criminal offense. Government officials say this case will test Ghana’s resolve in protecting citizens, especially women, from digital exploitation.

However, legal analysts have pointed out that extradition could be complicated due to diplomatic and treaty limitations between Ghana and Russia.

This move sends a clear signal: Ghana is prepared to pursue justice beyond its borders when its citizens are violated.

As the situation develops, many Ghanaians are watching closely to see whether the extradition effort succeeds and what precedent it may set for digital privacy enforcement in the country.

Stay tuned for more updates.

🚨Political chatter is heating up again, and this time it centres on outspoken businessman and politician Kennedy Agyapong.

Over the past few days, rumours have suggested that the former flagbearer hopeful is preparing to ditch the New Patriotic Party and carve a new path by forming what many are calling a “third force.” The narrative has travelled fast, powered by disappointed supporters and loud social media debate.

People within his inner circle insist there is no breakaway plan. They say Kennedy Agyapong remains a committed member of the NPP and has not announced any move to resign or establish another political party. To them, the speculation is simply frustration from sections of his base being interpreted as strategy.

The idea of a third force is attractive to many who believe Ghana’s political space needs disruption. And without doubt, Agyapong has a loyal following that thinks he could make a strong independent statement.

Still, until the man himself says otherwise, the talk remains rumour, loud, interesting, but unconfirmed.

In politics anything is possible, but for now, Kennedy Agyapong is still inside the NPP tent.
