Be a friend with faith, not a friend with criticism, a friend with judgment, a friend with jealousy. There’s enough of that in the world. Be a lifter, be an encourager. Let them borrow your faith while they don’t have any faith. Tell them that you’re praying for them, that you love them, that you believe in them. Your faith can be what lights their passion, your faith can be what breaks their addiction, your faith can be what God uses to propel them into their destiny.

Artist Statement
​​​​​​​​​​​​ FALEFALE is a mobile installation that warns of the escalating dangers of plastic waste and how it poisons oceans, destroys marine life, and ultimately threatens human survival.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ As an experimental fashion artist, I transform discarded plastics and textiles into vessels of memory, beauty, and caution. This process connects my background in tailoring and hand-stitching with community-based artmaking in Accra’s Osu neighbourhood, where I work with children and young people to collect, repurpose, and create. Together, we reimagine waste as a site of resilience and possibility.

This work arrives as both a warning and an invitation: to rethink consumption, recover what has been lost, and imagine new futures of sustainability and care.
