A girl struggles to raise a bucket of unsafe water onto her head after filling it from a pond in Dhoni-Yepala, Tamale Metropolis, Northern Region. Latifa explained how the toil of fetching water and the dangers of getting sick from it were only the visible effects of the dam water. Latfia was sure that the water was contaminated by the animals and people defecating in the nearby vicinity. The arrival of the new water kiosk will go a long way in helping Latifa improve her situation and realise her dream.
