Development Bank Ghana recently hosted a delegation from The Gambia during their visit to Ghana as part of a regional development finance study tour focused on institutional growth and capacity building.
Over the course of the week, both teams engaged in insightful discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and interactive engagements covering development finance, governance frameworks, SME support, risk management, and strategies for driving sustainable economic impact across our respective countries.
The visit highlighted the importance of regional collaboration and strengthened partnerships in advancing Africa’s collective growth, resilience, and economic transformation.

In a strategic collaboration to strengthen the Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ghana, Development Bank Ghana (DBG) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA).
The brief ceremony was also used to launch the DBG-GEA MSME Business Clinic, a structured, results-oriented programme, which will among other things contribute to improving MSME access to finance, enterprise performance, and more importantly, job creation and business sustainability.
