Reasons why we struggle with sexual sin

1. Lack of feeding on God’s presence daily
1 Cor. 7:5

2. Not crucifying the flesh and walking in the Spirit. Remember you were redeemed from sin
Col. 3:5-6

3. Lack of intimacy with you spouse. (It is the antidote to flee from sexual temptation).
Prayer to stay committed and attracted to our spouse for married men and prayer for the right marriage partner for single men.
1 Cor. 7:2

4. Tolerating sexual temptation
What we feed ourselves. Movies, videos with sexual content. Could be certain environments which trigger lust. Clubs, beach houses, some gyms. Know your sexual triggers. Avoid fueling your sexual desires
1. Cor. 6:18, Eph. 5:3

5. Minimizing the seriousness of sexual sin and minimizing the importance of self-control
1 Cor. 6:9-11

6. Pray for the infilling of the Holy Spirit to bear the fruits which aid us to overcome all temptation.
