*Help from Zion*

‭‭May He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion; Psalms 20:2

Psalms 20 is a prayer offered to King David as he went out for war.

As one leading the army of God into battle, he needed help from God.

Zion indicates the place of God’s presence. The people thus recognised that help comes to those who are connected to God’s presence.

Wherever we find ourselves, as long as we can connect to God’s presence, we are assured of help.

God is our help in times of difficulties.

Connecting to Him also connects us to the help we need in times of trouble.

Distance is no barrier to God’s help. Help from Mount Zion is available to everyone irrespective of their geographical location.

From God’s sanctuary comes His help for you. Shalom.
