If your 'unique selling proposition (s)' aren't difficult to copy by the competition, if your unique selling proposition isn't perceived very costly to emulate by the competitor, then it isn't, they aren't Unique selling propositions (USP).
The perceived cost involved in copying your uniqueness by the competition is what will set such uniqueness apart as your own.
The perceived difficulties involved in your competitors offering your unique benefits to their own customers/clients is what will set it apart as your.
That is what's known as USP, USA, USB - unique selling proposition, unique selling advantage, unique selling benefits.
It's features and benefits associated with your business, with your business offering that are either definitely and absolutely difficult for the competitors to copy and offer or such features and benefits will be costly for them to copy.
Value is what distinguishes successful businesses from the unsuccessful ones.
So you want to ask yourself as a business manager 'what is that special offer or that special way of doing what we do that sets the business apart from the its competition.
Now let me take the #1 and expound on it for this week.
#1 Increase the number of customers who buy from you.
How do you increase the number of customers who buy from you?
USP: By developing or discovering UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION (USP). Your business should be able to be a value and not a commodity. If you are going to make that 'precious' business of a commodity then do not venture out in the first place because there are thousands of such businesses out there.
I did show you that the three ways to grow your business included;
1) increasing the number of customers or client's who buy from you.
2) Increasing the size or volume of purchases they make each time they visit or order.
3) Increasing the frequency of re-purchase or re-order.
Let's go back to our 'three ways to grow any business'. And that includes yours. It doesn't matter the industry or market your business operates the principles are universal and the results are unique.
