Video below shows a fuel pressure test on a 2014 VW Passat.
Customer complained of difficulty in starting whenever the Engine is heated.
Normally ,this is fuel related so upon further tests technician reported the required reading which should be above 4bars wasnt reach as depicted in the video
Fuel pump was replaced with a brand new one as well as the fuel pump control unit
Customer is happy now

The PASSAT VARIANT
2008 Model FSI
Customer complained of the following
1.Over heating of Vehicle
2.Cold Start difficulties as well as initial take off slowness
3.Master lock/Open switches intermittent malfunctioning.
REMEDIES:
With the over heating,after a pressure test by our technicians,we realized a crack on the back side of the Expansion tank.
As we also deal in spare parts,we suggested a change of the Expansion tank ,which was effected.
Also an Extensive Fuel Pressure Test was conducted.It turned out that the fuel pump will eventually need to be replaced,sooner than later as the measured and approved reading werent met..
Customer was advised to plan towards a new fuel pump.
