Theres more work involved in the Preparation then you may think.
1. From removing all the old Mortar joints
2. Spliting the stone to Allow for the perfect size joint Continuous. Where stone shouldn't be touching stone.
3. Pointing the joints, i Personally prefer NHL 3.5 lime too two sharp sand.
Not no Mention how much time is spent Through the day keeping the wall damp with Hessian Coverings + Making or creating Shade to keep Out Of direct sunlight Allowing the wall to take its time to naturally dry out. Point Away

Looking back at this years Charitable, And community Events that Point Away and the team have done with a complete Success. From sea Front sunday teaching the art of lime pointing two Raising money for cancer research and trying our best to save a Local product the guernsey cheese. What a beautiful transformation of this cottage that you can now see back to its true heritage of how it used to look. This stunning cottage has undergone a complete render removal of the sand and cement allowing the wall's to dry out and breathe again.
