Would you pick up the red phone? ☎️
I’ve been thinking about starting an idea I’ve had for a while now. It’s inspired by the popular Instagram series A View From a Bridge, where honest conversations are captured in a simple, meaningful way.
The idea is to set up a small table in an iconic location in Guernsey, away from the noise and crowds, with a retro red phone, customized so the audio connects to my camera from a distance.
On the table, there would be:
• A few open and honest questions.
• The option to have your face hidden or shown.
• A consent form allowing the interview to be shared on social media.
The conversations would focus on topics such as mental health, life, ambitions, personal experiences, and advice for others. You are in control and pick which topic.
What do you think of the idea?
If I did this over a weekend in September, would you be interested in taking part? And do you think it’s something that would gain traction here in Guernsey?

Behind the scenes on cinematic lighting set up filming
Had the privilege of sitting down with Jason Fox Co-Founder of Rock 2 Recovery UK for an open and honest conversation about mental health. This part of our discussion really stayed with me, and I wanted to share it in the hope that it might resonate with, or help, someone who is struggling.
I'm currently producing a documentary about Mark Ormrod MBE, and I feel incredibly grateful that Jason was willing to be part of the film. It's been a privilege to bring together people who are prepared to speak so openly about such an important subject.

Some days remind you why you keep showing up.
Today was a real pinch-me moment. I had the privilege of filming an interview with someone I’ve looked up to and respected for many years, British Special Forces veteran and TV personality Jason Fox (Foxy) known for Channel 4, SAS Who Dares Wins.
To sit down with him as part of the upcoming documentary I’m producing on my friend Mark Ormrod was something I’ll never forget.
At the beginning of 2026, I made a promise to myself that this would be the year I stepped outside my comfort zone, backed myself, and chased opportunities that once felt out of reach. Days like today remind me that growth comes from the work nobody sees, the early mornings, the setbacks, the self-doubt, and the decision to keep going anyway.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who’s believed in me and supported the journey so far. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming next and thank you to my partner for being so patient while I travel a lot filming this project.
Big things are coming, and this film is going to be incredible! 🎥
