We’re bringing the Rascal back and for the time being we’re hitting the road with a BBQ and a smoker ! 🤤

Infact it’s been too long!

It is with mixed emotions, but a sad heart that I inform you that the final decision has been made and Fat Rascal will be closing its doors for the final time after the evening service on Saturday 17th February 2024.

It's time for a new and exciting chapter to begin.

Fat Rascal opened in February 2017, yup, nearly 7 years ago! An epic, at times emotional journey it has been!

We started the restaurant just a month after loosing our first daughter Phoenix, who was sadly stillborn on 06.01.2017, and somehow we managed to get enough determination and drive together to open the restaurant the following month! I still don't know how!

There was a sheer desire for the restaurant to succeed, we wanted to create a unique offering, creative and imaginative food, intimate service, and I believe we did that. We have certainly faced a few challenges along the way.
The fire in 2018, two covid lockdowns, recruiting & economic challenges , BUT wow , we have so , so many amazing memories of running Fat Rascal.

I want to extend the deepest of personal thanks to you for 7 years of incredible support, joy and love that we have received! We have met some incredible people, formed great freindships!I am so grateful for the support for our business, it means a lot and I won't forget it.

The Chicken Parmi deserves a special mention here! 🤤

Without question the highlight has been the people! To all our guests thank you!!!To past and present team members thank you so much for delivering such super food, and great hospitality over the years.
So...what now?

We have put together a cracking menu, The LAST CHAPTER Menu, Running from Monday 8th January till 17th February. We would be so delighted to see as many of you as possible to help celebrate 🎉 and to send the restaurant off in style!
What's Next?
Well, our sister restaurant Good Rebel has great plans for 2024 in store.
In terms of what's next for the FR building, there are some very exciting plans🤫
