~MIDDAY~
How can a simple bench under a tree draws so much emotions. To me it was love and sadness. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance ; against such there is no law”
Galatians 5:22-23

The world had made its way to justify human emotions and actions because it made us believe that we are the victims of its vanity and wickedness. But God’s grace has taught us to always choose to love, forbear and be at peace in every situation in our lives whether it be good or bad.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
1 Peter 3:3-5

We often say, "True beauty comes from within", yet we care so much about what people would say in our physical appearance and our material possessions. We esteem ourselves with temporal things to seek the approval of others and often missed out how we can truly find acceptance and peace through humility and meekness. We are attracted to the ideals of minimalism, tranquility and simplicity, yet our outward response is too weak to reflect the inner spirit.

Remember the story of the Tower of Babel? I imagine it to be as lavish as this hotel in Downtown Dubai. Except that the Tower of Babel is probably much taller. ”and they said, Go let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven, and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth” - Genesis 11:4

In the passage, we are reminded of how a pride and arrogancy can ruin our relationship with the Lord. That the more we exalt ourselves, we are bound to destruction.

~RELEASE~

On top of the Uplistickhe Cave Mountain in Eastern Georgia. "Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths."
Proverbs 8: 1-2

The passage personified wisdom to a woman who is standing in a place where she can be seen and found. Wisdom is not a privilege given to specific people but rather a gift freely given to those who seek it, to direct them to the right paths.

When you are constantly tested by the temptations and sufferings in the world and it felt like no one is listening. Learn to find joy, and worship Him, because a test of faith develops perseverance.
