The zoning by the Yellow River has been officially withdrawn. After receiving a recommendation of denial from County planning staff, the applicant has decided the best course of action was to withdraw the case. REZ2026-00019 will be removed from the planning commission’s and board of commissioners’ agendas and will not be heard.

Happy Mother’s Day!

I feel so bad! I missed the school board race some of us have on May 19th on my sample ballot mailer! I fully support the incumbent Adrienne Simmons and I hope you will too.

Thanks to my insistence, ballot information on *all* candidates for *all* races is now available from the county website! Links to all the candidate’s websites and info included so you can easily make an informed decision. Just another way I’ve been fighting for increased transparency and accessibility for our residents.

Happy Earth Day! It’s all about the sustainability of our home. I brought glass recycling back to Gwinnett, it was my idea to start our sustainability commission, and I will continue to fight for sustainability (fiscal, environmental, and people).
