Imagine a world where no family has to face losing a pet simply because help isn’t available when they need it most.
That’s the vision behind the Gwen Fund.
Our mission is simple:
making the world a better place for pets and helping pets and their people when they need it most.
As we continue building this effort, we’re looking for a volunteer board member to join our team and help guide the future of the Gwen Fund.
You don’t need to be an expert.
Just someone who cares about animals and believes that small acts of compassion can create real change.
If you’d like to help shape programs that support pets and their families in times of need, we’d love to talk.
Send me a DM or drop a comment below if you’re interested.
Together, we can keep making the world a better place for pets.

STELLA UPDATE 🤍
Sadly, Stella’s condition was more advanced than expected, and she passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 3rd.
Because of your generosity, the Gwen Fund was able to help Stella’s family cover the cost of her services — allowing them the space to focus on what mattered most: being together.
Not all happy tails end the same way. Sometimes, the happiest gift we can give is comfort. A familiar space. The time to grieve. The dignity to transition from this life with grace.
From all of us at the Gwen Fund, thank you for standing beside Stella and her family. Your support makes moments like these possible, and we hope you’ll continue allowing us to provide these critical services to pets — and the people who love them — when they need it most. 🤍

Today we’re celebrating the life of the incomparable Catherine O’Hara — a comedy legend whose wit and warmth gave us so much joy on screen and off. From Schitt’s Creek to Home Alone, and of course the unforgettable Best in Show, she reminded us that dogs really do make everything better. 🎭❤️
But here’s the part we love: Catherine wasn’t just brilliant in roles with pups — she cared about real ones too. She was the very first celebrity supporter of Pup Culture Rescue, championing the lifesaving work of dog rescue and animal welfare long before it was “trendy pup culture.” 🐶✨
At The Gwen Fund, we believe every dog deserves love, safety, and a forever home — whether they’re Best-in-Show material or the scrappy rescue who stole your heart. 🏆🐕🦺
Thank you, Catherine — for the laughs, the legacy, and for reminding us that compassion is always in style. 🕊️💛

🐾 Meet Stella 🐾
Stella is an 11-year-old Shepherd/Retriever mix with the gentlest soul. She’s loving, patient, and incredibly trusting—especially remarkable given what she’s going through right now.
What began as swelling in her mouth has rapidly progressed into a painful oral mass with necrotic tissue, making it difficult for Stella to eat and live comfortably. She urgently needs surgical care to remove the damaged tissue and affected teeth so she can be free from pain and return to enjoying her golden years.
Despite everything, Stella remains sweet, calm, and affectionate—still wagging her tail, still trusting the people helping her. She deserves relief, comfort, and the chance to heal.
🖤 The Gwen Fund is committed to helping Stella get the care she needs. If you’re able to support her journey—through a donation, sharing her story, or sending love—we know Stella would feel it.
Every act of kindness makes a difference. 🐶✨

Meet Kitty Catswell Roosevelt Braxton Gregs Lewis, but you can call him Bobby.
From his guardians:
He's been with us since he was four weeks old and is now 12.
He found us when my daughter and I were out on a nature walk; she was 6 at the time.
He was an "only cat" until he was 3.
He loves chin rubs and canned salmon.
His favorite place to lounge is in any type of basket
We are happy to help Bobby get back to chillin in his baskets. Can you help us save more "Bobby's"?
