How would you move if you didn’t have a phone for a week? 👀

Humbled and grateful for .surf 💗 thanks for giving me a platform to express myself and featuring some of the baddest surf ladies in LA. We’re changing the narrative. Maybe one day, when you think of a surfer, a Black woman comes to mind instead of a blonde white dude 🤷🏿‍♀️

I was afraid wearing the bandeau swim top to surf would mean a free show for the fellas in the lineup BUT it never slipped 😆😝

Test shoots are probably my favorite part. Still pretty new to this world; I’m testing out my angles and getting more comfortable in front of the camera. Trying to tell stories with my eyes and body language. Each outfit creates a new character. This one was an Oceanside busker, making just enough money to pay for her room in a dingy motel. 😂

Thank you for your excellent eye, guidance and perspective. You are so so so so wise in more ways than one. You lead by example. Grateful for both of our journey’s because it brought us together 💗 and we’ll continue on 💪🏿

2 books that I’ve been reading for 2 months 🥴 maybe even longer than that.

Life is busy and and slow at the same time. Becoming a better listener is harder than I thought because it’s starts with silencing distractions and quieting the mind, as I type on the most distracting device I own 🥲

Summer Goals:

🌼 Spend an entire weekend at San O
🌼 Jump in a lake
🌼 Enjoy a refreshing mocktail
🌼 Learn something new
🌼 Road-trip somewhere
🌼 Make a drastic change of appearance

This feels really weird to say… But this season I’m putting most of my energy toward myself. I want to heal others and set others free, but gotta start with me. Healed people heal people and hurt people hurt people. Progressively moving away from hurt and toward healed.

A major part of that is spending more time in prayer. He’s lifted me up and I want to honor Him by following His direction.
