• Show Host of #WHODAT242 My mother, a dedicated basketball fan and former basketball player, fed my curiosity by molding me into an avid reader.
Sports enthusiast, Visual Artist and advocate for Bahamian creatives, the twists and turns that I have maneuvered on my life’s journey has led me to a destination where I am living my dream, fulfilling my purpose and comfortable in my Bahamian skin. My father, an ultimate music lover, whose musical tastes was comprised of the sounds of Bob Marley, Beres Hammond, Sade and ’90’s R&B. A devout Cathol
ic, I was educated in New Providence at St. Thomas Moore Primary School and Saint Augustine’s College. Post-graduation I attended the College of The Bahamas where I studied Computer Information Systems and before switching my concentration to Media Journalism in 2013. The year 2013 was crucial to my development as a Visual Artist and a turning point for me as a creative. Prior to changing my focus to Journalism, I began managing my first music artist, Rapper Jay Complex and blogging for international and local websites discussing, reviewing and previewing NBA basketball and international music focusing mainly on Hip-Hop. I was given opportunity in 2013 to work for ZSR Sports Radio 103.5 in Nassau hosting two shows, Talking Sports and College Talk 103.5 with cohosts Mick Massaar and Amajahl Knowles, These two young men eventually became my business partners. College courses in photography, videography and writing further catapulted my transformation. With my new media skills, involvement with the local music and sports scene and my job as a radio talk show host, I soon realized that I could continue moving forward in my education on my own with the help of a camera and the internet. In 2014, I made the decision to leave The College of The Bahamas without completing my degree, and formed a Photography, Videography and Graphic Design company called Three Amigos Media (3AM) with my former ZSR Talking Sports and College Talk radio cohosts. That same year, I created my web show #WHODAT, a platform developed to spotlight the music and accomplishments of Bahamian artists, entertainers and creatives, past, present and future.
3AM initiated my love for the innovation of Bahamian creatives. Prior to this, I was an avid supporter of creative personalities but I chose to highlight the accomplishments of international artists and athletes, not Bahamians. But, after seeing first-hand the performances of many talented music artists, I decided to fully embrace the industry and focus my attention solely on Creative Industry. Three Amigos Media and #WHODAT quickly rose to popularity in 2014. Working with BTC the following year as a Social Media Coordinator further immersed me in the richness of Bahamian culture. I felt a sense of achievement in 2017 when #WHODAT won the Elevation Award for Vlog of the Year in April. In October, I won the National Youth Award for Youth In Entrepreneurship for my company 3AM. The award that meant the most to me in 2017 was the 2017 Bahamas Press Club Media Award for Social Media (Blogging, Podcasting and Livestreaming) because I was awarded an award by journalists in the country for my work as an Event Blogger via my Instagram Page (Instagram Reporter et al). To date, Three Amigos Media has grown exponentially and has expanded its services to include Social Media Management. I have also developed a personal signature brand TIMMAY that provides Event Photography & Videography for Music Showcases, Film and Art Shows. 3AM and TIMMAY are both enjoying great success and have created projects for corporate companies such as Commonwealth Brewery and Bahari. It is my hope that our company’s success is a testament to the power of entrepreneurship. I believe that I am living the creative dream. I love what I do and my goal is to document much of our Bahamian culture, while I simultaneously carve a place in Bahamian history as a pioneer in an industry that is still growing. Whoever the next Bahamian artist maybe to make the leap to international super stardom, I want to have contributed to their success in some way. My craft is viable and it is important because it solely focuses on the journey of Bahamian artists in a way no other entity does. Whether popular or relatively unknown, I am committed to sharing our artists’ stories with The Bahamas and with the world. My plan for the future is to continuing growing and improving my brand. When my daughter grows up, should she decide to pursue a career in the Arts or Media in The Bahamas, it is my hope that the profession would be as celebrated and respected as a Doctor, Lawyer or Accountant. The Bahamas has won a Grammy Award. We have achieved top 10 billboard success. We have the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is my desire to take The Bahamas to the world but before I undertake that task, I must first take The Bahamas to Bahamians.

PSALM 90:10
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
If we are only promised 70 years to make a mark, then 35 serves as the half-mark of that journey, and provides the sobering thought that you are closer to the end than the beginning.
As I begin my 35th year on this rock, it feels like things are just beginning, but with a wealth of knowledge on where to take things next.
