This Range Rover Vogue arrived at Martin Motor Group with several issues, including a non-functioning rear-view camera.
Following a thorough diagnostic investigation and detailed wiring checks, our technicians identified the underlying fault — water damage to the camera unit.
Rather than simply replacing parts, our team carried out the necessary testing and inspection to accurately identify the cause of the problem. We then fitted a genuine Land Rover factory replacement camera, completed the required checks and got the vehicle safely back on the road. ✅

This Jaguar came into the workshop as the customer had noticed it was feeling rough both at idle and while driving.
Dan got straight onto it and checked the vacuum-operated engine mounts. After pressure testing both sides, he found one wasn’t holding pressure — identifying a faulty engine mount as the cause of the roughness. 🔧
While the car was up on the ramp, Dan also carried out a vehicle health check and spotted that the front brake discs were in very poor condition. 🛑
The customer authorised both jobs and, once the parts arrived, Dan got straight to work.

🔧⚡ DIAGNOSING THE REAL PROBLEM — NOT JUST THE SYMPTOM!
This Renault Clio came into the workshop with no indicators and no working wipers.
Simon got straight onto the diagnosis and, after carrying out a series of checks and tests, found something that wasn’t immediately obvious.
The indicator fault wasn’t caused by the steering column or indicator switch.
Instead, a failed wiper motor was causing a short circuit, which in turn put the Body Control Module (BCM) into protection mode and shut the system down. 💻⚡
A new wiper motor was fitted, the BCM was reset and everything was tested — job done and another happy customer back on the road! 🚗✅
This is why accurate diagnostics matter. Finding the root cause can save time, money and unnecessary parts replacement.

⚠️🔧 LOW OIL PRESSURE WARNING? DON’T IGNORE IT!
This Volvo XC40 was recovered into the workshop after displaying a low oil pressure warning and running very rough.
Dan got straight onto the diagnosis and, after removing the oil sump, discovered the cause — the oil pump belt had deteriorated and shredded, preventing the oil pump from operating correctly. 😬
After speaking with Volvo, we were able to fit the updated oil pump chain kit, designed to prevent this issue from happening again.
The new kit was fitted, everything checked over and the XC40 was soon back on the road and back to a happy customer! 🚗✅
Another great example of why proper diagnosis matters — identifying the cause rather than simply treating the symptoms.
