May we offer some advice for the rather glorious weather we are currently experiencing; factor 50 sun cream all over, a jolly big hat (particularly for us gentlemen of a certain age 👴🏻) & lashings of quality refreshing white wine (drinking responsibly of course). 😎

🚨 New wines alert 🚨 We are delighted to welcome the wines of Caizergues (pronounced kai-zairg).
Previously a silk farm, the wine names of Caizergues reference their heritage (mostly).
Having ‘wormed’ their way into our lives from the first taste, they’ve now arrived from sunny Languedoc to sunny Goring by Sea.
Taste their ‘silky’ character for yourself at our Sampling Lounge (open Friday & Saturday afternoons)

Well, this is us today, Good Friday, and will be us tomorrow too. All that’s missing is you Good people. Usual opening times apply, even over the Easter weekend. Aren’t we Good to you.

In celebration of World Malbec Day on 17th April (honestly, it is a proper day in the wine calendar), we’ve put our range of Malbecs on offer.
🍷 So, you can raise a glass to that most popular of grape varieties knowing the world will be toasting with you, though not sure how you’ll fit them all in your garden.

Finally they’re back! A few of our faves from South Africa that had been missing for far too long. Plus, Orpheus & The Raven Eternal Eight, a newbie that I’m sure we’ll all be ‘crowing’ about🤔 (Hmmm, doesn’t really work 🙄) Get them before they’re gone again.

Whether you’re off to the beach, staying in the garden, a picnic in the park or an unexpected stop in a lay-by on a country road you weren’t aware existed but are currently experiencing the delights of because the navigator lost their bearings after thinking the entrance to the field was in fact the second left so you turned too early and now you’re thoroughly lost (but isn’t it beautiful round here 🌳🌻), the perfect accompaniment to this weather 😎 is a glorious bottle of Rosé (or google maps).
