Events coming in ready for our busy 2026 programme we are M.F.R.S

our service has been involved in various initiatives to improve fire safety and rescue operations.

Some of our focus areas might include ¹ ² ³:
- *Community Safety Initiatives*: Installing fire sprinklers in high-rise buildings to enhance resident safety, as seen in their collaboration with Midland Heart to retrofit sprinklers in Staffordshire properties.
- *Fire Prevention and Awareness*: Highlighting the dangers of lithium-ion batteries and promoting safe practices through campaigns like "Fast. Fierce. Fatal."
- *Improved Services and Training*: Potentially adopting new technologies and training methods, such as the FREC3 – First Response Emergency Care Level 3 training course, which Midlands FRS is set to offer in 2026.
- *Enhanced Collaboration and Governance*: Working with government and other agencies to drive reforms and improvements in fire and rescue services, as emphasized by the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) and the Fire Minister's address.

Given the context of their post, MFRS is likely looking forward to continued collaboration and support from their community in the new year.
