🌟 Volunteer with us and make a real difference 🌟

As Volunteers’ Week comes to a close, we don’t want the momentum to stop here. Join our team and continue the incredible work that supports our clients💜

Our Donation Support Volunteers play a vital role within the BCWA Fundraising Team. You’ll support our day-to-day activity by sorting valuable donations, keeping our cupboards clean and organised, helping with team tasks, and assisting with community collections.

Fundraising at BCWA can be a busy, high-pressure environment – especially during our busiest times - and our volunteers are integral in helping ensure our clients and services get the support they need.

Whether you enjoy hands-on tasks or connecting with your community, we’d love to have you on board.

Residents, community groups, charities and other stakeholders are being invited to help shape the future of Wolverhampton’s voluntary and community sector.

The council has launched an eight-week consultation giving people the opportunity to share their views on a draft Voluntary and Community Sector Strategy setting out how the council can work more effectively with the voluntary, community and social enterprise and faith sector to support local communities.

Councillor Obaida Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Community, said: "Wolverhampton has a proud and active voluntary and community sector that plays a vital role in supporting residents and strengthening our communities.

"The draft Voluntary and Community Sector Strategy will mark a step change in how the council will work with the sector. It reflects what we’ve heard through our engagement and sets out a clear commitment to building stronger relationships, improving how we work together, and treating the sector as an equal partner in shaping the future of our city."
