Today on 18 February we remember Sant Singh Maskeen on their barsi, a towering Gurmat thinker whose katha illuminated minds and transformed hearts.
Sant Singh Maskeen Ji had the rare ability to explain Gurbani with depth, logic, and humility, always guiding the listener toward self-realisation and truthful living in Hukam.
During their final katha, Sant Ji humbly informed the sangat, saying:

“Today, my time, my speaking power and mind power has come to an end but that doesn’t mean that the explanation of these 4 Laavan have also ended. Because the more we go deep in Gurbani, the more it widens (Never-ending). The point where a human ends the explanation is the point where the Kathavachak’s time has ended. It is the point where his thinking power and speaking power comes to an end but Guru’s shabad (Gurbani) never comes to an end. The kirpa(Knowledge) that Guru Ram Das Ji blessed me, I have kept that in front of you all. I pray in the feet of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, may you all attain the selfless state by listening to katha/Gurbani and may I attain the same by speaking Katha/Gurbani I will pray for you all and you should pray for me. By doing this, everyone here should be able to succeed in their journey of life. I thank you all and forgive me for my mistakes. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Fateh, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh”

May we honour Sant Singh Maskeen Ji not only by remembering their words, but by living the Gurmat principles they dedicated their life to sharing.
