With it being Father’s Day we have had no booking for today’s sessions - so we have decided to let the instructors have some family time

🎉 Promotion Time 🎉

Huge congratulations to Taran “The Phantom” on being awarded his 4th stripe on his white belt this Monday night at Wolverhampton BJJ! 👏🥋

This stripe is the result of months of hard work, consistency and determination. Taran has been putting in the rounds, showing up week after week and continuing to improve every time he steps onto the mats.

The timing couldn’t be better either. Just 24 hours earlier, The Phantom was in action at the All Stars Midlands Championships, battling his way to a well-earned 🥈 silver medal. A fantastic performance against tough opposition and another sign of the progress he’s making.

What makes it even more impressive is that Taran has been balancing his training around work commitments, yet he still finds a way to keep turning up, keep learning and keep pushing forward. That’s what Jiu-Jitsu is all about.
The medals are great, the stripes are great, but the real achievement is becoming a little bit better every single day.

Congratulations Taran. The Phantom is still rising… 👻💪

🥋 ALL STARS MIDLANDS BJJ CHAMPIONSHIP – COVENTRY 🥋

Small team. Big results. 💥

We took just three competitors to the All Stars Midlands Championship today, but they represented Wolverhampton BJJ with skill, heart and determination all day long.

🏆 Pawel – Double Gold 🥇🥇
➡️ Blue Belt Gi Champion
➡️ Blue Belt No-Gi Champion

🥇🥉 Jakub – Gold & Bronze
➡️ Gi Champion
➡️ No-Gi Bronze Medalist

🥈 Taran – Silver Medalist
➡️ Gi Runner-Up

That gives us an incredible haul of 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal from just three athletes! 🔥

What makes these results even better is seeing the hard work these guys put in week after week on the mats. Early mornings, tough rounds, drilling when nobody is watching and constantly looking to improve. Competition day is just the reward for all that effort.

A huge thank you to Mohan for helping out throughout the day and supporting the team, and well done to Professor Ben for coaching the athletes through their matches.

Days like this remind us that it’s not about the size of the team—it’s about the commitment, preparation and mentality of the people wearing the badge.

🥋 Stripe Promotions at Wolves BJJ 🥋

A huge congratulations to three of our team members on their recent promotions!

🔥 Tom earned his 4th stripe on his white belt following an incredible performance at Roll Models, where he brought home TRIPLE GOLD 🥇🥇🥇. A fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work he’s been putting in on and off the mats.

🔥 Jai received his 2nd stripe after stepping up and competing for the first time at the same tournament. It takes courage to test yourself in competition, and this is a well-deserved reward for that effort and commitment.

🔥 Shiv picked up his 1st stripe after showing great consistency in training and making noticeable improvements over the last few months. Turning up regularly, learning, and putting the work in always pays off.

Promotions aren’t just about competition results—they’re about progress, attitude, consistency, and becoming a better version of yourself every time you step on the mats.
