Survival Log: Week 2 of HAF (Holiday Activities & Food)
Status: The children are fed, the crafts are somewhat intact, and the adults are running entirely on iced coffee and pure determination.
We have officially almost made it through Week 2! Unity in Action has been a glorious whirlwind of energy, dodgeball dodges, and unexplainable glitter splatters. If you listen closely, you can hear the collective exhale of every coach and leader looking at the weekend horizon.
Summer is flying by at absolute hyper-speed. It feels like we just unlocked the doors for Week 1 five minutes ago, and now Week 3 is already knocking.
Huge shoutout to the amazing kids for bringing the chaos, and to our legendary team for holding down the fort. Rest up, stretch those hamstrings, and hydrate—Week 3, we are coming for you! ☀️💪⚽🎨

😂🌉🥔📣 Unity HAF Morning Report! 📣🥔🌉

This morning, our young people have been busy...

🌉 Building bridges (future engineers in the making!) 🥔 Playing the classic Back Garden Hot Potato! 📣 Learning cheerleading routines with plenty of energy and enthusiasm!

Meanwhile... the adults are quietly asking if there's a "Sit Down and Have a Cup of Tea" activity on the timetable! 😂☕

Let's just say these activities are strictly for the kids... because after one round of Hot Potato and a few cheerleading moves, our bones started making noises we've never heard before! 😅🦴

The children are still bouncing around with endless energy... We're bouncing... straight to the pain relief gel! 🤣

Another fantastic morning at Unity HAF—where the children make memories, and the staff make appointments with the chiropractor! ❤️😂

🎉🎂 Happy 11th Birthday, Lilly! 🎂🎉

Today's mission at Unity HAF was simple... celebrate Lilly's birthday and prove that old school games are STILL undefeated! 😂

There were balloons flying everywhere, cake disappearing faster than we could cut it 🍰🎈, and plenty of laughs as everyone got stuck into the classic games. Turns out you don't need a games console when you've got great friends, loads of energy, and a room full of competitive kids! 😆

A massive Happy 11th Birthday to our wonderful Lilly! 🥳 We hope your day was filled with fun, laughter, cake, and memories you'll never forget.

Thank you to everyone who helped make her birthday so special. Another fantastic day at Unity HAF, where every day brings smiles, friendships, and a little bit of organised chaos! 💜

🎨🧦 Unity HAF Tie-Dye Day! 🧦🎨

We started with plain white socks... and ended up with masterpieces that only a washing machine will truly understand! 😂🌈

There was twisting, tying, squeezing, a few colourful fingers, and just the right amount of "I definitely didn't spill dye!" 😆

The creativity was incredible, and every child created their own unique design. We can't wait to see the finished results once they're dry!

Who knew a pair of socks could cause so much excitement? 🧦💥

A huge well done to all our amazing young artists for throwing themselves into today's activity. Another fun-filled day of making memories at Unity HAF! 💜

🎈🌈 Unity HAF: Where balloons go POP... and taste buds go WOW! 😂

Yesterday's challenge was simple... 🎈 Pop the balloon!
🌈 Taste the rainbow!

What could possibly go wrong? 🤔

Let's just say some balloons popped with Olympic-level enthusiasm, a few nearly gave everyone a heart attack 😆, and the "Taste the Rainbow" challenge produced some priceless facial expressions! 🍬😂

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Umar and Samuel to to the activities. We hope you had an amazing time and can't wait to see you both again! 🙌💚

There were brave champions, dramatic reactions, plenty of laughter, and maybe one or two children who suddenly decided they don't like every colour after all! 🤣

Another fantastic day full of fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories. At Unity HAF, every day is an adventure!

🌧️ Today's forecast: 100% chance of rain... followed by a 100% chance of SLIME! 🤣💜

The weather may have ruined our outdoor plans, but it definitely couldn't ruin the fun! We brought the party inside and got stuck into some seriously stretchy, squishy slime making.

We also discovered something very important... slime isn't just for the kids! 😜 The adults may (or may not) have been caught playing with it just as much... all in the name of "quality control," of course! 👀😂

From giant stretchy slime to colourful creations, there were smiles, laughs, and a few very sticky fingers all around. Rain? Nice try... Unity HAF always finds a way to make the day amazing! 💚

A huge thank you to Shanae for bringing the energy, the fun and the amazing vibes to our Unity HAF dance session! The room was full of confidence, creativity and some seriously impressive moves. 🌟

At Unity HAF, it's not about getting every step perfect—it's about having fun, making friends and giving everything a go. Safe to say... everyone danced like nobody was watching (even though we definitely were! 😆).

🥁🚨 Breaking News: Bushbury has officially been declared... LOUD! 🤣

A huge thank you to Tony from Hit the Dohl for bringing the energy and waking up the whole neighbourhood with an amazing drumming session at Unity HAF! 🎶🔥

The children absolutely loved making some noise, finding their rhythm, and proving that teamwork sounds even better when everyone's joining in! 🥁💥

Sorry to our neighbours... but great music is worth hearing! 😆🎵

🐷🌞 Unity in Action HAF had an amazing day at Northycote Farm! 🌞🐷

Today was packed with smiles, fresh air, friendly animals and plenty of fun! The children loved exploring the farm, meeting the chickens, and of course... the pigs! 🐔🐖

We all agreed that one pig had the best idea of the day... while everyone else was melting in the sunshine, it was stretched out in a lovely muddy puddle, living its best life! 😂☀️💦 We might have been a little jealous!

A huge thank you to everyone who made today so special. Creating memories, making new friends and enjoying the great outdoors is what Unity HAF is all about. 💚

What a way to kick off the summer! 💥

🥋 We threw some awesome martial arts moves (some of us looked like ninjas... others looked like we were fighting invisible flies 🤣).

🍹 Then we cooled down by creating some amazing mocktails. Let's just say there were some very serious taste testers in the room! 😋

There were smiles, laughs, new friendships, and plenty of energy from start to finish. If today is anything to go by, we're in for an incredible summer! 🌞
