Join Bilston library’s Bostin’ Book Club for a discussion of Emma Purshouse’s novel ‘Dogged’ with the author herself!

Emma is a local poet and author and was Wolverhampton’s first poet laureate 2020-2022. ‘Dogged’ is a rich, complex, and engaging tale, centred on two women in their 70s and is set in Wolverhampton. Speak to staff at Bilston library if you would like to borrow a copy of her book in advance of the event.

Regular attendees of the book club as well as first-timers are welcome to come along to this free event. Refreshments will be available during the evening.

HiVis fortnight gives libraries across the UK the opportunity to highlight services and support for those with a vision impairment.

BOOKING UP FAST: Wolverhampton Libraries are proud to present Kevin Harris with an illustrated presentation on the foundations of Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. from 1877, as we near the club's 150th anniversary! 🐺

🗣️ The talk will include how the Molineux family came to the town, where the club played before moving to their grounds, who were the founding players and benefactors, and much more.

Use a Lego Spike Prime kit to build a moving robot and then code it.
