📣 WE'RE HIRING

Grand Arena Youth Theatre is looking to commission a writer-facilitator to create a brand-new play for our Juniors (ages 9–13), which will premiere at Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton on 7 & 8 July 2027.

Working alongside the Theatre Practitioners and our Junior members, the writer will lead a series of facilitated research and development workshops to explore ideas with the group.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of comedian, Jimmy Cricket. He brought laughter to so many in two pantomime productions, Aladdin (1986) and Dick Whittington (2000). In 1993 he chose the Grand to record a show for commercial release and also appeared in three editions of A Night at the Music Hall, variety shows staged by the Grand between 1994 – 2002. He is remembered fondly by staff here who worked with him over the years and our thoughts are with his family, friends and all who loved him.

Systems and IT Manager
This newly created, office-based role will work closely with the Associate Director – Operations & Safety, to help shape our long-term digital strategy whilst ensuring colleagues get the best from their technology and maintaining its security and effectiveness.

Finance Administrator
Supporting our Head of Finance, the successful applicant will provide comprehensive administrative and financial support, ensuring invoices, payments, and financial records are managed accurately and in a timely manner. The role contributes to the smooth running of the finance function by supporting reporting, record keeping, and day-to-day financial administration.
