New Setup with a build that has been on the shelf for a while. This car originally ran a stock hobao carbon chassis and a Jaguar body, I didn’t have the best results with that body so I had this v2 fc100 body done up already and decided to update the chassis to a saga one . This is also the first setup I am using David’s new SP8 bullet connectors on the batteries and esc, and they are a great addition for speed run cars. These bullets have a ton of engagement and work very well so I am extremely happy with them.
For me this is a 10s PB with any car so I was happy to see that.
On top of that this run which definitely pushed hard also hit the 700 amp limiter that is in the Cobra Ace HV unit during the top end. It pulled back just a hair during full throttle, but it showed me that it worked and did what it was supposed to do. It’s the first time I hit that particular current on the Ace Hv and this production firmware which is also what the error code was at the end of the video. I don’t think we will reach that amp level running 12s but with the lower voltage level I did find it.
